The short version: we only collect what you type into our two forms. We use it to reply to you, or to send you the newsletter if that's what you asked for. We never sell it. If you want it gone, email info@twincinder.com and it's gone.
The longer version follows. Twin Cinder ("we", "us") is an independent game publisher operated by Cem Sunay between Istanbul and Zurich. This page explains what personal data this website handles, where it goes, and what your rights are.
01 · What we collect
Pitch form. When you contact us through the pitch form, we receive your first name, email address, the reason you selected, your message, and the page you sent it from. If you share links to builds, documents or store pages in your message, we receive those too.
Newsletter. When you sign up, we receive your email address and nothing else.
Everything else: nothing. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies of its own, has no tracking pixels, and does not profile visitors. You can browse the entire site without telling us who you are.
02 · Where your data goes
Form submissions are delivered to us by Formspree (Formspree, Inc., USA), which forwards them to our inbox and stores them briefly in our dashboard. Formspree processes this data on our behalf; their practices are described in the Formspree privacy policy.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which serves the pages and may process technical connection data (such as IP addresses) as part of routing traffic and blocking attacks, per the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Our typefaces load from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request, per Google's privacy policy.
That is the complete list. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with anyone beyond these service providers.
03 · How we use it
Pitch submissions are used for exactly one thing: reading what you sent and replying to you. Newsletter addresses are used to send occasional updates about our games, such as announcements, demos, trailers, and notes from behind the scenes. It won't arrive weekly, and we won't put other people's offers in it.
Every newsletter we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
04 · Your pitch materials
Builds, documents and links you share stay inside Twin Cinder. We don't forward them, we don't sign your ideas over to anyone else, and if we pass on a project we delete what you sent.
That promise from our pitch page is also our data policy. When we decline a project the materials get deleted. We don't keep them on file for reference.
05 · How long we keep things
Formspree retains submissions in its dashboard for a limited period (currently 30 days on our plan); the email copies remain in our inbox for as long as a conversation is live. Pitch threads that don't move forward are deleted along with their materials. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.
06 · Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR, Switzerland's FADP, and Türkiye's KVKK, you may have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to our processing of it, and to receive a copy of it.
Exercising any of these takes one email to info@twincinder.com. We're a small team; we read it and answer ourselves. If you believe we've mishandled your data, you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
07 · Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through our forms, contact us and we will delete it.
08 · External links
Our site links out to places like Steam, and to our social channels. Once you leave twincinder.com, those services' own privacy policies apply. We don't control what they collect.
09 · Changes
If we change how this site handles data, we will update this page and change the date at the top before the change takes effect. We won't quietly expand what we collect.
